PFP2. Brief history of the course of restoration of paintings and antique wood
Tuesday, October 16, 2012

Introduction
Since1978 technicians and teachers of our Institute, with the collaboration of students made a great number of practical internships of restoration. All the interventions of restoration were made in strictly connection with the competent Superintendence Head Offices as for example the Superintendence of: Ancona, Arezzo, Bari and Foggia, Bologna, Chieti, Cosenza, Ferrara, Forlì-Cesena Ravenna, Rimini, Florence, Pistoia and Prato, Genova, L’Aquila, Lucca, Napoli, Padova, Palermo, Pescara, Pisa and Livorno, Reggio Calabria, Roma, Siena and Grosseto, Trento, Trieste, Venezia, Viterbo. All the interventions were made on commission of various museums, churches, antiques and private collectors. Thanks to the Institute experience and its strong didactic competences, many national and international institutions and firms of restoration, proposed us partnerships and agreements in various national and international projects. Each of our laboratories is co-ordinated by one or more area expert. They have at least a twenty year experience in their field and they all have the required didactic and professional requirements as in the Italian Act on Cultural Heritage (Testo Unico sui Beni Culturali), article num. 29, DM 42/2004 and subsequent changes and integrations (d.lg. 156/2006, d.lg. 62/2008).
