Born in Florence on 3th March 1956.
She gained her Diploma of restoration of paintings at Palazzo Spinelli in 1980.
She graduated in Architecture at University of Florence.
She works since 1980 as restorer of paintings on canvas.
She worked in the organization of the exhibitions: "I Principi Bambini" Firenze - Palazzo Pitti 1985, "Seicento Fiorentino" Firenze Palazzo Strozzi-1986.
She also worked for Galleria d'Arte Moderna di Palazzo Pitti and for Museum of Avellino. She restored hundreds of paintings under the supervision of many Superintendences. She took part in many missions organised by Palazzo Spinelli in Italy and abroad (Argentina, Brazil, Japan, etc.).
Since1988 Gabriella Forcucci is teacher of Laboratory of pictorial restoration In the course of restoration of paintings on canvas and wood panel.
In 2004 was appointed President of the Scientific Committee of the Department of restoration of paintings on canvas and wood panel.
