Valery Ledyev, dean of the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, well known painter in Russia and in Europe, paid a visit to President Francesco Amodei at Palazzo Ridolfi. A meeting that has renewed the friendship that began in Russia twenty years ago, in May 1993, when the president of the Institute gave to the restorers of Pushkin the alabasters necessary to complete the mosaics of the Amber Room.

The return to the Verna of some artworks recently restored by our students

Tuesday, April 16 2013, our restoration office gave back to the Monastero della Verna four stone artefacts and four oil on canvas paintings.
