In the months of February, March and April 2012 in the Institute Aula Magna (from 6 p.m. to 7,15 p.m.) will be held a series of technical meetings organised for the Institute students but open to all the interested people. A certificate of attendance will be issued to all the participants. The certificate will show the treated topics and it will be undersigned by the lecturer and by the Institute Direction. The project of restoration of the painting (state of conservation and first draft of the restoration project) is now available and can be read sending a preliminary request at the Ufficio Restauri, attention miss Giuliana Menghetti.
From Tuesday 10 January 2012 will restart the restoration works of the large scale 18th century painting depicting “Santi e sante in adorazione” (cm 300x200). The intervention of restoration will be carried out by our students of the specialization course (third year) and will be supervised by the instructor Gabriella Forcucci (director of the works) under the high supervision of the Soprintendenza per le province di Firenze Prato Pistoia. ...continues»

With the protocol no. 27587 of the 23rd December11 the Soprintendenza per le Province di Firenze Prato Pistoia authorised our Institute at the restoration works of a large scale (cm. 213x154) 18th century painting depicting “Madonna with Child and Saints”. ...continues»

The sessions of the three month free course of Restoration of Stone Artefacts ended yesterday. The course was reserved to ten Florentine students who were granted by a free voucher of the Regione Toscana. The final session of Safety and Health at Work and Restoration Budgets and Projects, was delivered by the Institute president, dr. Luciano Giovannetti, former Bishop of Fiesole.
